California Manos del Corazón seeks committed, enthusiastic, available and skilled individuals who have a talent or gift. There are a lot of ways the individuals can spend their time involved in service.

 

California Manos del Corazón’s volunteers embrace the mission and passion statements as well as model the tagline. Volunteers will Connect. Empower. Decolonize. throughout their experiences with California Manos del Corazón.

 

Through volunteering, you will have the opportunity to try something new, gain experience, develop skills, improve their career prospects, cultivate confidence, gain personal growth and meet new people.

 

Should you wish to volunteer your time to CMC you may be asked to assist our work through such things as:

 

• participating on committees and teams

• helping community and/or fundraising events

• tabling at exhibits, festivals, fairs, and others

• raising funds assisting programs

• designing illusions, flyers, e-news and others

• translating LSM, ASL, Spanish and English documents

• providing accommodations to our community’s needs

• writing transcripts, articles, stories and etc.

• undertaking research tasks

• participating in online communities

• collecting information, data, sources

• supporting resources and accounting programs

• reviewing and developing guidelines

• or lending your own specialist expertise to an area of our work
